Fife Cycleways
One of the fittest ways to see Fife is by Bike! That's becoming increasingly easy with the development of the Kingdom of Fife Millennium Cycleways, a network of more than 300 miles of dedicated cycle routes the length and breadth of the region.
The cycle ways offer something for everyone. For the committed tourer, the 105 mile Kingdom Route is a circuit between the Forth and Tay road bridges. There are smaller regional networks in West Fife - including an 8.5 mile off-road section along a disused railway line with links into Devilla Forest - circular routes in the picturesque Howe of Fife, and more being developed in the East Neuk south of St Andrews. There are also off-road routes, as well as urban networks in Fife's main towns.
The Scottish Off Road Driving Centre
The Scottish Off Road Driving Centre is the biggest, best and most challenging 4x4 offroad driving course in Scotland. They provide all action off road "recreational" training in their specially adapted Land Rovers, either through Gift Vouchers or you can just phone up and book a time. They also run professional 4x4 training courses.
You drive their specially prepared 4x4 - or you can bring your own - over really wild country with an instructor. When you arrive they start driving immediately. They give a short 5 minute instructor safety demonstration in the vehicle, after the demo you will do all the driving. You'll drive for the full time given, enjoying exclusive use of the vehicle and you can bring up to 3 guests free of charge.
