As we come through lockdown things will look a little different. Garvock House has been adapted for a Covid safe environment as the safety and well-being of our guests and staff is of utmost importance to us, and we are strictly adhering to government health & safety guidelines.

Hand washing and hand sanitisation takes place at the beginning of each shift and regularly throughout each shift. All staff wear PPE in accordance with government guidelines.
Our Guests –
Visiting the restaurant - Please sanitise your hands on arrival and wait to be seated by one of our team. You will be shown straight to your table where you will be served.
When walking through the hotel, please wear a face mask or covering.
In line with government guidelines we shall be taking contact details of every guest to enable an efficient track and trace system. We would like to reassure you that these details are for track and trace purposes only, are kept securely and will be destroyed when no longer required.
We would kindly ask you to respect other guests and adhere to social distancing.
In the loos, we would ask for 1 guest at a time. Toilets are located just off reception and in The Rosemalen Suite too.
Please pay at the bar and use contact-less payment, where possible.
We will prefer if you leave via the porch.
Feeling unwell? If you have any coronavirus symptoms before your visit – fever, continuous cough, loss of taste or smell, or have been asked to self-isolate or recently arrived from a restricted country, please stay at home. We will happily reschedule your stay or refund your deposit.
It is possible you could develop symptoms after you arrive at Garvock House. If so, please inform reception you feel unwell as soon as possible, and maintain your distance from any of our team or other guests. If you can leave, we will ask you to return home immediately. If this is not possible (for instance, if you are too unwell to drive) we will ask you to self-isolate in your room. We will contact NHS Scotland for the most current recommended next actions, including assisting them with their Test and Trace programme.
Thank you for your help. Together we can fight this.
As of the latest Government update, the hotel will be closed from Saturday 26th December 2020 until the end of January.
As mainland Scotland is currently in Tier 4 - we await further updates from the Government.
Thank you for your patience during this time.
